An Introduction to UTEX'10

The United Kingdom Technology and Engineering Exposure 2010, or abbreviated as UTEX '10, is an international educational visit to United Kingdom by Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), organized by Mechanical Engineering Professional Students Club (MECHAPRO) with the collaboration with Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Student Affairs and Alumni and UMP International Office.

The UTEX '10 is scheduled to be on 9-19 May, 2010. The visit would involve study and exposure on the engineering and technology in the U.K. industries, as well as cultural exchange with various tertiary education institutions and historical and cultural attractions.

Programme Objectives

• To introduce Universiti Malaysia Pahang to international society.
• To expose students on the latest technologies utilized in United Kingdom
• To promote Malaysian Culture such as Zapin Dance through Cultural Exchange programmes in United Kingdom, in conjuction with Visit Malaysia Year 2010.
• To create internship and job opportunities with the industries in United Kingdom for UMP Undergraduate students.
• To create exposure for UMP students on effective management and leadership through the visit to United Kingdom.
